Why Winter Maintenance Matters for Your Resin Driveway

1. Keep it Clean from Winter Debris
Winter often brings fallen leaves, twigs, and general organic matter. If left to rot on the surface, these can block the natural permeability of the resin. A quick sweep with a stiff brush every couple of weeks is the best way to prevent 'clogging' and maintain that pristine look.
2. Dealing with Ice and Snow
One of the greatest benefits of a Rowe & Co resin installation is its slip-resistance. However, during heavy ice, you can use common rock salt or grit. Unlike traditional tarmac or concrete, high-quality resin isn't easily damaged by salt, but we recommend washing it off once the thaw begins to prevent any residue buildup.
