What we did

Resin Bound Driveway in Sible Hedingham, Essex

The original driveway at this Sible Hedingham, Essex property was laid in concrete paving slabs that had cracked, sunk and stained over the years, with weeds coming through the joints. Slabs move, and once they do there is no repairing them back to flat.

In its place we laid a resin bound surface: aggregate mixed with resin and trowelled out in one continuous piece, so there are no joints to weed and nothing to settle unevenly. It is permeable, so surface water drains through rather than running to the road, and it is edged in charcoal block paving with a matching apron at the front door.
